In Modern Warfare 2 (CODMW2 2022), the tenth mission that players get to experience is called “Violence And Timing”. Get to know how to navigate this mission, walkthrough, and useful tips using this guide.
Modern Warfare 2 Violence And Timing Mission Walkthrough
- Aim at the enemy vehicles and shoot down the infantry. Be careful not to shoot civilians or allied units. If you find yourself running out of ammo, look to your left and grab the magazines to refill.
- After getting hit by an RPG, use your pistol and continue to kill enemy targets. Use the red barrels to blow up enemy vehicles. Nothing much to do here but shoot at enemies again.
- Cut the wires and drop down on top of the truck. Jump onto the back of a nearby vehicle and hijack it. Drive forward to the head of the convoy while eliminating as many enemies as you can.
- Plow through the roadblock and continue driving. Watch out for the mines and keep away from them. Catch up to the mine truck and eliminate the enemies riding at the back to stop the mines.
- Stay on the right side of the road and wait for Captain Price to appear in front of you. Jump from your car to the back of his truck and get the Grenade Launcher from his backpack. Use the Grenade Launcher to destroy enemy vehicles. Note that there is no way to reload this weapon so replace it with the nearby LMG if you run out of ammo.
- Continue firing at the targets chasing at you while killing those in front. Hijack another vehicle and drive straight to the head of the convoy.
- Wait for the APC to pop out and evade its attacks. When it aims down, move to the opposite direction. Wait for Farah to distract the APC then jump on board. Shoot the enemy that pops out of the turret and interact with the body. Jump back to Price’s vehicle.
- Disembark and shoot down the enemies from the convoy. Fight your way up until you reach the black car. Interact with the car door to end the mission.
Mission Reward
Completing Violence And Timing rewards you with “Nova”, an Operator that you can use in both co-op and multiplayer.

Shoot & Drive
After leaving Nikolai’s helicopter, you’ll be driving on your own to chase the convoy. Familiarize yourself with the controls and lean out to shoot at enemies firing at you. How can you do this? I don’t know but it looks cool being able to shoot from the window while directing a moving vehicle.
Watch Your Vehicle’s Health
Like cardboard boxes on wheels, vehicles during this mission are incredibly easy to blow up. Watch your car’s health and be prepared to hijack other cars to continue with the mission. Note that you can hijack different vehicles so try to experiment as some are fast while some are more durable. Also, if your vehicle is on fire, don’t take any chances and just look for another one.
The Floor Is Lava
As you’re going to hijack cars to proceed in this mission, prepare to jump around a lot. The problem is, if you fall and drop down the road, the game’s over. Make sure to land your jumps and if you’re not certain if you can close the gap, use your vehicle to get nearer and wait for the right opportunity to do so.
Mine Segment Can Be Annoying
A very annoying part of this mission is the mine segment. While heading to the front of the convoy, a mine truck will start laying mines that explode on impact. These mines are placed to force you to zigzag as you chase the truck. It is recommended to use a mobile vehicle here as using large ones, say a truck, can be frustrating.
