A follow up from last year’s Moto Z Force, the Moto Z2 Force Edition comes with a 5.5-inch QuadHD POLED display with ShatterShield coating on top and reinforced with 7000 series aluminum for an almost shatterproof experience.
Aside from its durability, the smartphone comes with a new dual camera system, which consists of two 12MP, f/2.0 cameras. The Moto Z2 Force’s dual camera system works much like Huawei’s P10 Plus where only one of the sensors can capture colors while the other sensor can only take monochrome photos. The dual camera setup is complemented with a PDAF, laser AF, and 4K video. Check out its full specs below:
Battery has been bumped up from last year’s model from 2730mAh to 3500mAh. The Moto Z2 Force still ships with its 15W TurboPower charger. Unfortunately, there’s no 3.5mm jack on the smartphone.

Alongside the Moto Z2 Force Edition is the 360 Camera Mod (USD 299), which can record 360° 4K videos with 3D audio. Of course, all Moto Mods will still be compatible with the Moto Z2 Force.
No local price yet announced but if you’re interested in a Motorola device, the Moto Z2 Play was just announced here in the Philippines.
