MSI-ECS, one of the top ICT distributors in the country proudly presented that they will be carrying DJI drones and cameras in the Philippines. A part of this deal is to carry all products of DJI and have service center support across MSI-ECS Digi-care service centers.
DJI products, including the smallest, most compact, foldable drone, the Mavic Pro, the iconic Phantom drone series, the ready to fly professional platform for filmmakers the Inspire 2, as well as handheld gimbals from the Osmo series. These are just some of the products that MSI-ECS will bring to more than 50 retail outlets nationwide.
DJI also demonstrated their latest Phantom series drones with advanced sensor and tracking capabilities. This includes motion tracking, path tracing with the controller and even automatic sensing of obstacles to avoid a collision. The Mavic was also shown which is the smallest drone without any compromise in the world, it gives flexibility for travel/drone enthusiasts to take a shot in the most challenging areas without carrying a suitcase.
MSI and DJI understand the corporate responsibility of drones, they assured that they will cooperate with the CAAP (Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines) for any possible training, guidelines and even liability when it comes to a responsible drone flying in the Philippines.
No detailed SRP was yet announced for all product series for DJI, but they highlighted that all will come with standard 1-year warranty and service support of up to 3 years after launch. Plus, they will also cater to imported units for repair this Q3 once they finished their training with DJI for their service department.
Just to clarify that MSI-ECS isn’t the only distributor of DJI in the Philippines, but they have the better scope and capabilities to accommodate more customers when it comes to after sales service.
