MSI has launched a range of new QD-OLED monitors at CES 2025. These new displays promise a smoother gaming experience with some of them reaching speeds of up to 500Hz alongside the clarity expected of a QD-OLED panel.
The MSI MPG 272URX QD-OLED is one of the first displays with DisplayPort 2.1a. It packs a 4K 240Hz display with a 5-layer tandem OLED panel with EL Gen 3 technology that improves efficiency up t0 30% compared to previous monitors. To ensure smooth and tear-free gaming, the display is also fully G-SYNC compatible.
Designed for mainstream gamers, the MSI MPG 272QR QD-OLED X50 comes with DisplayPort 2.1a with a 2560 x 1440 500Hz QD-OLED panel. Its fast refresh rate is complemented by a 0.03 GtG response time while its clarity earns it the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 21000 certifications.
Those who need a larger screen may look at the MPG 322URX QD-OLED as it comes with a 32-inch 4K 240Hz display. Much like its siblings, it will come with DisplayPort 2.1a, G-SYNC compatibility, and a fast 0.03 GtG response time.
The MSI MPG 274URDFW E16M bucks the trend and instead sports a 27-inch Mini LED display with 1152 zones. Its dual mode allows you to select the resolution and refresh rates that you prefer from 3840 x 2160 at 160Hz to 1920 x 1080 at 320Hz.
The MSI AI Dual Mode intelligently detects your current settings and adjusts the optimal refresh rate when switching resolutions. You can choose the AI Dual Mode through the menu via the MSI-exclusive Gaming Intelligence software for a smoother and more tailored experience. You can also do this via the one-click switch button.
MSI’s new displays will be powered by AI Navigator – an AI-driven feature that analyzes and optimizes gaming setups. One of its standout features is the AI Menu that helps you adjust game-specific settings through the MSI Gaming Intelligence software. This allows you to fine-tune monitor profiles, refresh rates, and other settings.
