AI has been the topic of the tech industry this year. MSI, alongside the new Intel Core Ultra series processors, will be taking advantage of these new technologies with the new Prestige 16 AI series notebooks. Despite their power under the hood, the notebooks will only weigh in at only 1.5kg due to their Magnesium-Alloy Chassis while still carrying a 99.9Whr battery.
Intel’s Core Ultra series will be able to capitalize on AI thanks to its integrated Neural Processing Unit. They hae already collaborated with over 100 AI-ready applications to further accelerate workflow by putting workload on the NPU.
For MSI’s part, they have developed their own MSI AI Engine. It will determine user scenarios and automatically adjust the hardware settings without any manual input. MSI will be providing their AI Engine through a January update.
All of the Prestiage AI series can be equipped with an OLED screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio for a better viewing experience. The Prestige 16 AI Studio’s Intel Core Ultra CPU can be complemented by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU while other variants will come with an Intel Arc GPU.
The new Intel platform will also support WiFi 7 for faster networking speeds. Both 16-inch variants of the Prestige AI are powered by a 99.9Whr battery while the 13-inch variant has a 75Whr battery though it is much lighter at only 990g.
