MSI has refreshed their range of notebooks with the newly launched NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs at CES 2025. These new GPUs will be complemented by Intel Core Ultra Series 2, AMD Ryzen 9000 Series, and AMD Ryzen AI 300 series CPUs.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs are powered by the Blackwell architecture. These new GPUs will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 for improved performance as well as better AI capabilities with NVIDIA Studio and NVIDIA NIM microservices for AI models.
MSI will also equip their 2025 notebooks with processors such as the Intel Core Ultra 200HX and 200H with delivers up to 24 cores and an integrated NPU AI with 15% performance boost over their predecessors; the newly launched AMD Ryzen 9000 HX series including the Ryzen 9955HX3D; and the AMD Ryzen AI 300 series processors with next-generation NPU with up to 50 TOPS.
MSI’s notebooks will come with a new cooling thermal design with an SSD heatpipe. This cooling system reduces the temperature of PCIe 5.0 SSDs by up to 10°C to ensure stable performance. They are also combining Super RAID 5, which combines PCIe 5.0 and PCIe 4.0 SSDs to reach read speeds of up to 18,000MB/s.
There will be better AI integration on MSI notebooks this year thanks to MSI AI Robot. Developed in collaboration with NVIDIA, this acts as an AI Assistant that integrates a locally deployed small language model directly into the system. This allows you to control your notebook with natural language commands even without an Internet connection.
