MSI is introducing their Summit E14, E15, B14, and B15 notebooks with Intel’s 11th Generation Tiger Lake processors as part of their new business-centric line of laptops. These new roster is bolstering the ranks of already existing series of productivity notebooks like the Prestige and Modern notebooks.
The Summit Series were given their moniker to represent the pinnacle of your career and productivity. With the growing trend of remote work, business notebooks needed to do more than just basic tasks such as sending emails or being connected to the Internet. MSI is giving their latest notebooks with higher performance, enterprise-grade security like TPM 2.0, and additional versatility.
All four SKUs of the Summit lineup – the E14, E15, B14, and B15 – are powered by the Intel 11th Generation Tiger Lake processors and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Depending on the variant, you can spec up the notebook to have 32GB of DDR4 RAM running at 4266MHz or 64GB DDR4 RAM clocked at a more modest 3200MHz. Meanwhile, files will be stored on a PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD for all models. The B15 and E15, however, will receive an additional PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD.
MSI’s Summit Notebooks will come with two Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports for DisplayPort and charging as well as other modes of expandability. The brand will also be throwing in a Fingerprint Reader and an IR Webcam for an additional layer of security, which should be important for any enterprise device.
