MSI isn’t one to be left behind a big PC components launch, the Taiwanese brand has also unveiled their new line up of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti. Their lineup includes the: Aero, Armor, Duke, Gaming, and Titanium.
All of MSI’s recently announced cards are running at a base clock of 1607MHz and a rated boost clock of 1683MHz while memory is handled by 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM via a 256-bit bus.
Both the Titanium and Gaming variants sport MSI’s Twin Frozr Cooler with TORX 2.0 fans, which helps blow air through aluminum fins in the heatsink. Cooling is further bolstered by a nickel-plated copper base and large copper heatpipes.
The Duke ups the ante by placing three PWM fans on top of the card for consistent cooling for the card. The Titanium, Gaming, and Duke SKUs support MSI’s Mystic Light RGB lighting as well as 6- and 8-pin PCIe power connectors.
The Armor is the “basic” dual fan setup of the MSI’s GTX 1070 Ti range. It doesn’t support Mystic Light RGB but it does stick with the 6- and 8-pin PCIe connectors from the top three cards.
The Aero sticks with the blower-style cooler of the reference GTX 1070 Ti. Power delivery is handled by a single 8-pin PCIe connector. All cards are expected to be released sometime this November. Here are the breakdown of the specifications of MSI’s new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti cards:
