MSI is pushing their Optix lineup of monitors to the edge within 2019. Ranked as the fastest brand in gaming monitor growth in 2018 by TrendForce, MSI will be following up their unstoppable momentum from next year by releasing four new gaming monitors this 2019.
First introduced to the world back in Computex 2019, the MSI Optix MPG341CQR is one of the brand’s most impressive monitor yet. The display comes with a 34.0-inch 1800R curved display with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio.
As a gaming monitor, the MSI Optix MPG341CQR will also sport a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time on its panel. The brand will also implementing HDR 400 for an overall better gaming experience.
The monitor will also come with an array of RGB lights on the bottom bezel. Instead of having it purely for aesthetics, MSI has made its RGB lighting useful by integrating it to important game data such as health and remaining mana.
Just beside the RGB strips is a built-in mouse bungee to allow gamers to enjoy gaming without worrying about their mouse cable being tangled. The brand has also added a webcam mount at the top of the monitor to attract streamers.
For those who like higher resolution gaming comes the MSI Optix MAG 321CURV and MAG322CQRV. The MSI Optix MAG 321CURV comes with a 31.5-inch 3840 x 2160 1500R curved panel that also promises less than 10ms input lag.
On the other hand, the MSI Optix MAG322CQRV will come with the same 31.5-inch 1500R curved panel with 3000:1 contrast, although the resolution have been toned down to 2560 x 1440. As is standard with most gaming monitors, the stand can be adjusted to let players find their optimal viewing angle.
Built for the serious gamer, the MSI Oculux NXG252R comes equipped with a 25.0-inch 1500R 1920 x 1080 curved panel. Despite its lower resolution compared to other monitors in this range, the NXG252R has a 0.5ms response time and 240Hz refresh rate to allow gamers to play at the absolute edge.
To eliminate screen tearing, MSI has added NVIDIA G-SYNC to the display. This allow serious players to focus on the game and not on their equipment.
MSI has not indicated as to when these monitors will hit the market. We expect all four monitors to arrive within the third quarter of the year or early Q4.
