MSI has refreshed their Trident series of pre-built PCs to the 9th generation of Intel processors and NVIDIA’s RTX video cards. Dubbed the MSI Trident X Plus 9th, this pre-built is the most powerful all-in-one solution from MSI yet.
Inside its 10-liter chassis is a Core i7-9700K based on Intel’s latest 14nm++ refresh of the Coffee Lake processor. To help with the processor with large workloads, the device has also been fitted with 16GB of DDR4 RAM.
Allowing users to play games is an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 video card. As one of the top-tier GPUs in NVIDIA’s range, the RTX 2080 was designed to run games at full throttle while showing off great graphics with its ray-tracing capabilities.
Files and games are stored in a 512GB SSD paired with a 1TB 7,200RPM HDD drive. Powering everything inside the MSI Trident X Plus 9th is a 650W SFX 80 Plus Gold-rated PSU.
