AMD’s 3rd generation Ryzen processors have been released into the wild. Alongside these new processors is the new X570 platform. MSI teased us some of their new motherboards in Computex 2019. This time around, the brand has released 7 new motherboards for AMD’s new processors.
Aside from the new platform, MSI has worked hard to improve their latest motherboards. MSI X570 motherboards uses their trademark Frozr Heatsink Design to cool the PCH on the board.
Their cooling system integrated the heatsink and a patented fan with double ball bearings for longevity. In addition, their new design combines Propeller Blade Technology to improve airflow, lower noise with Zero Frozr Technolgy as well as the capability to auto-adjust fan speed depending on your preference.
All X570 motherboards will sport the new PCIe 4.0 standards for peripherals and M.2 storage slots. MSI’s motherboards comes with Lightning Gen4 M.2 slots that support 64GB/s bandwidth.
Such high bandwidth will surely produce heat. To keep M.2 drives on their toes, MSI is throwing in their M.2 Shield Frozr that cools M.2 devices to avoid thermal throttling.
Overclocking has always been one of the main focus of MSI. As such, the brand is bringing better PCB materials and VRMs on all X570 motherboards.
To sustain reliable and long-lasting system performance, MSI motherboards come with server-grade PCBs, which prevents PCB bending and improves signal transfer effectiveness by up to 30%. All MSI X570 boards will also come with daisy chained RAM slots for better memory overclocking.
The motherboards have an IR35201 PWM controller with an IR3599 Phase Doubler as well as Infineon TDA21472A Power Stages. MSI will also be utilizing Titanium chokes for improved power delivery for an overall stable platform.
The top-end X570 from MSI, the MEG X570 Godlike will come with all the amenities that overclockers and gamers need for a high-end system. Exclusive to the Godlike is MSI’s Dynamic Dashboard with OLED display.
The board will come with Killer Network solutions such as the Killer xTend as well as Killer WiFi 6 for improved wireless capabilities. RGB-compatibility such as Mystic Light Infinity has been thrown in onto the package.
The MSI X570 Godlike is bundled with an M.2 XPANDER-Z Gen4 card for additional M.2 support and a 10G Super LAN Card that promises quicker transfer speeds no matter what the workload.
The MSI MEG X570 ACE removes the traditional red accents found on previous MSI motherboards in lieu of a black and gold design. The board comes with three PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots with individual M.2 Shield Frozr for consistent transfer speeds.
The board also comes with the latest industry innovations such as a pre-installed I/O shield, USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, an on-board 2.5G and Gigabit LAN, and WiFi 6.
Packing the Creation moniker, the MSI Prestige X570 Creation was designed for creators who like heavy multitasking. The boards support Dual-LAN with 10G Super LAN as well as WiFi 6 capabilities.
Like the Godlike, the Prestige X570 Creation will come with an M.2 Xpander Gen4 add-on card to increase the number of PCIe M.2 drives on the system. Exclusive to this board is MSI’s Creator Center that allows users to dedicate resources to programs.
Like previous Carbon motherboards, the MSI X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi has been inspired by supercars. Aiming for high-performance with the looks to match, the board comes with MSI Mystic Light with 29 LED effects.
As with most MSI X570 motherboards, the X570 Gaming Pro Carbon comes with Lightning Gen4, Frozr Heatsink, and M.2 Shield Frozr. In addition, the board also comes with WiFi 6 and a pre-installed I/O shield.
The MSI MPG Gaming Edge WiFi has been designed for the user who wants a high-end experience without breaking the bank. In terms of design, the board is a bit less flash compared to its contemporaries although it still has all the high-end amenities like the other X570 boards from MSI.
The board comes with a pre-installed I/O shield, and extended heatsink design, on-board wireless AC, as well as the same IR35201 PWM controller for improved overclocking.
Designed for gamers that play for fun or for competition, the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus comes with the MSI Frozr Heatsink, Extended Heatsink, and M.2 Shield Frozr.
The board’s Atypical PCB design makes cable management for SATA and USB cables ports easier than before. This allows the user to focus more on performance instead of the messy cables that all PC enthusiasts hate.
MSI hasn’t announced the local prices yet for these motherboards. We, however, expect to receive more information about the prices in the coming days as AMD’s 3rd generation processors hit the market.
