New iPad Pro is ridiculously bends easily due to weak structure

-

In the durability test of the famous Youtuber JerryRigEverything, he tested out the new iPad Pro.

The new iPad Pro is a really thin and rehauled body from the previous iPad Pro series. The weakest point of the tablet is in the microphone slot and wireless charging pad for the new Apple Pencil.

This means that the new iPad Pro is not ideal to be leaned on inside a bag or even accidentally sit on. You can watch here how JerryRigEverything simply snapped the new iPad Pro with ease, easier than how the Nextbit Robin and OPPO Find X snapped.

Opening the new iPad pro shows no structural support for the middle frame and the batteries are dead in the center with no support. Making the whole device open to being snapped in unfortunate events.

JerryRigEverything also mentions his disappointment with Apple that continuously promoting Sapphire glass in their camera glass. But, according to the reviewer, Sapphire glass should not scratch at a level 8 tip.

FYI – Corning Gorilla Glass 6 can already be scratched with a level 6 tip.

So, will this new bendgate stop you to buy the new iPad Pro? For an item promoted as a laptop replacement, it seems its not yet ready in terms of durability as compared to a regular laptop.

Prices start at Php51,990 for the 10.5 for the 64GB variant. While the 12.9-inch display starts at Php64,490 for the 64GB variant.
