Nimo TV becomes the official broadcasting partner of WESG 2019

Nimo TV is continuing to strengthen their global presence in the world of esports with its partnership with AliSports. With this partnership, Nimo TV is now the official broadcasting partner of the World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) for the WESG 2019 in Chongqing, China, which will start on March 3, 2019.

The live streaming giant has been handed the rights to cover and broadcast WESG 2019 via their official app available on both the Apple app store and the Google Play store. This will allow its viewers to get quick and easy updates of the tourney.

We are excited of brining WESG 2019 to everyone via Nimo TV,” Henry Zhao, Nimo TV Overseas Executive. “Nimo TV and Alisports share a common goal of bringing esports closer to the world, and we believe that this partnership made us achieve our goal,” Zhao added.

Alisports established the WESG series in 2016 as an international esports tournament. Currently, it holds the highest prize pool of any third-part competition across multiple title, which amounts to USD 5.5 million.

As an Olympic-style tournament, WESG follows the Olympic standard where teams must consist of players from one nationality to embody the national pride and encourage fans to join in the competition.

You can now download the NiMO TV app via the Apple app store or the Google Play store.
