Launched back in August, Nokia’s latest flagship, the Nokia 8, has finally arrived here in the Philippines. All of the pieces have fallen in place in Nokia’s favor. The most significant of which is its partnership with Zeiss back in July.

The Nokia 8 comes with a 5.3-inch QuadHD display with Gorilla Glass 5, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with an Adreno 540 GPU complemented by up to 6GB of RAM. As far as storage goes, the handset can be set up to have 128GB of storage with the base model having 64GB of storage. All these is powered by a 3090mAh battery and Android 7.1.1 Nougat with an Android O update already planned in the future.

Its Zeiss connection comes with its dual 13MP f/2.0 rear cameras with LED flash. The dual cameras are setup to take monochrome and RGB shots to create better, sharper photos.

The front camera is a 13MP f/2.0 camera with PDAF and screen flash. The most notable addition to the smartphone formula is Nokia’s “Bothie.” You can now capture photos, video, or live stream from both the front and rear cameras in a single frame. This is especially helpful if you create reaction videos or photos or videos with your loved ones.

Nokia has also improved on the audio front with its OZO audio to deliver immersive 36-degree spatial surround sound. This enables the handset to play high-fidelity playback that complements 4K videos and brings Hollywood technology to mobile. Here are the full specs of the Nokia 8:
