A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and Nothing claims they were able to reduce the power consumption of specific components by up to 10%, which helps with battery life. They have also increased battery longevity by 25% and 13% reduction in temperature that allows it to maintain 90% of its maximum capacity after 1,000 charging cycles. Those who need faster downtimes may rely on its 45W Fast Charging support.

The Nothing Phone 2a packs a 50MP f/1.88 main camera with OIS and a 50MP f/2.4 ultrawide shooter at the back. The Glyph design is still here, which is Nothing’s signature look. It places the cameras inside the NFC coil with the cameras imitating eyes.

At the front is 6.7-inch 2412 x 1084 AMOLED display that runs 30 – 120Hz, plus a 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera. It will run on Android 14 with NothingOS 2.5 that promises three years of software upgrade and four years of security upgrades.
