NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 with 12GB GDDR6 officially unveiled, starts at $329

While NVIDA has already launched Ampere-based cards at the high-end and mid-range parts of the market, they are now bringing down the barrier to entry for their RTX 30 series by introducing the RTX 3060.

Like its higher-end counterparts, RTX 3060 is based on an 8nm lithography using the aforementioned Ampere architecture. They can offer improved performance in Ray Tracing and DLSS thanks to their 2nd Generation RT Cores and 3rd Generation Tensor Cores, respectively.

NVIDIA claims that the RTX 3060 doubles the raster performance of the GTX 1060 and greatly improves ray tracing and DLSS performance compared to last generation’s RTX 2060.

The GeForce RTX 3060 will support all the latest gaming enhancements that NVIDIA has to offer which include NVIDIA Broadcast and Reflex. It will even support resizable BAR in order to further improve gaming performance.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 will have an asking price starting at USD 329. Cards from NVIDIA and its partner AIBs are expected to hit store shelves starting late February 2021.
