After the “unlaunching” of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 12GB, the brand is now rebranding the card to the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. Despite the name change, the cards are similar when it comes to specifications.
The rebranded GPU sports less than half the CUDA cores of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 but is priced accordingly at USD 799 internationally. It sports 12GB of GDDR6X memory but memory bus width is limited to only 192-bit. NVIDIA says that TGP is set at a default of 285W but can be raised to 366W to get more performance.
As with other RTX 40 series cards based on Ada Lovelace, NVIDIA is promising up to 3x ray tracing performance compared to last generation and support for DLSS 3.0 that can predict and generate new frames instead of just pixels.
