After its launch back in September, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 series will be arriving in the Philippines this November. The RTX 4080 series is composed of two variants: 12GB and 16GB. Both are based on the Ada Lovelace architecture with a 4nm TSMC manufacturing process. These new cards allow support for DLSS 3, RTX Remix, up to 3x ray tracing performance, and improved rasterization performance.
While the two cards are only differentiated by memory capacity by name, they do have differing GPUs. The 16GB model is based on the AD103-300 GPU having more CUDA cores, RT cores, a larger bandwidth and a higher TGP of 516W. The 12GB is a slightly cut-down version but maxes out its TGP at only 366W.
