NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang took to the stage of CES 2025 with a Keynote about their technologies. While the keynote has a great focus on AI, their main offering for consumers are the new GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards that promises twice the performance of their predecessors thanks to their Blackwell architecture.
NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 50 series launched at CES 2025 are composed of 4 GPUs: the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070. While there is no news yet about other Ti variants and the RTX 5060, they will most likely launch later on in the generation.
The RTX 5090 remains the flagship of the lineup with 3352 AI TOPS and 32GB GDDR7 VRAM. A tier below is the RTX 5080 with 1801 AI TOPS and 16GB GDDR7 VRAM. Both the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 come with 1406 and 988 AI TOPS as well as 16GB GDDR7 and 12GB GDDR7 memory, respectively.
NVIDIA promises up to twice the performance compared to Ada Lovelace GPUs. These next-generation GPUs will also support DLSS 4, Reflex 2, multi-frame generation, and refined ray reconstruction and super resolution.
Pricing for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series are as follows:
Both the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 will hit the global market on January 30. Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti will arrive a bit later on February 2025.
