The previous months have been kind to AMD’s RX460. It was deemed as the choice for 1080p gaming during Nvidia’s silence. Not anymore. Nvidia has finally downed the curtains on their GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX1050Ti, cards positioned to provide unbeatable performance in the 1080p gaming segment. Both are NVIDIA Pascal-based GPUs, enabling them to be both power-efficient and fast.
Nvidia’s confidence is very apparent on the card. They do claim that the card is capable the latest popular games at full 60FPS at the staple resolution of 1080p (1920×1080). These games include: Dota 2, Overwatch, GTA V, and the likes. On top of all the number-crunching is that both the cards consume just 75W and has no need for an external power supply.
There’s no news as of the official local price. But we did hear from Nvidia that the cards would not exceed the PhP 7,000 price tag.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050Ti are expected to arrive on the 25th of October.
