Omoda E5 and C5 arrive in PH, starts at PhP 900K

Omoda and Jaecoo has launched three new cars in the Philippines. Flanking the Jaecoo EJ6 SUV are the Omoda C5 crossover their first full electric vehicle in the country, the Omoda E5.

Let’s start off with the C5. The crossover has been designed with their “Cross F Future” language which blends sharp aesthetics and tech. Under the hood is a 1.5 turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 154hp and 230Nm. The brand says that it consumes 6.9L of fuel per 100km from its 51L tank.

Inside are two 10.25-inch screens complemented by a wireless charging dock, Sony sound system, power sunroof, and sport seats. At the rear are piano-style tail lights and a power trunk door.

The Omoda C5 are available in 3 variants in the Philippines:

  • 1.5L Lifestyle – PhP 898,000
  • 1.5T Comfort – PhP 1,059,000
  • 1.5T Luxury – PhP 1,179,000

On the other hand, the Omoda E5 is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that produces 201hp and 340Nm. Its 61kWh battery pack has a maximum range of 430knm. The battery can be charged through an AC charger that maxes out at 9.9kW and a DC fast charger, which promises 30% to 80% charge in just 28 minutes.

There are a total of 5 seats inside with two 12.3-inch screens. You also get dynamic ambient lighting, an eight-speaker Sony system, dual-zone climate control, and a powered sunroof.

The Omoda E5 is available in its Luxury-extended Range variant with Blue + White or Black Interior for PhP 1,499,000.

Omoda and Jaecoo are putting up both autos on promo until June 30, 2025. You’ll need to pay a PhP 10,000 deposit to receive PhP 110,000 off the Omoda C5 or a PhP 20,000 deposit to slash PhP 220,000 off the sticker price of the Omoda E5.

Additionally, Omoda and Jaecoo are providing extensive warranties for their vehicles:

  • Gas Models
    • 7 Years or 200,000km Vehicle Warranty
    • 10 years or 1,000,000km Engine Warranty
  • Electric Models
    • 7 Years or 200,000km Vehicle Warranty
    • 8 Years of 200,000km Battery Warranty

Omoda and Jaecoo cars are now available via 6 dealerships in the Philippines: Quezon City, EDSA/Commonwealth, Quezon Avenue, Makati, BGC, and Manila Bay. They are planning to expand their footprint in the country by opening up 24 more dealerships.
