We’re one step closer to being cashless with PayMaya’s partnership with the SM Store

-

Going cashless in the Philippines is gaining traction day-by-day. Us going cashless is further bolstered by the recent partnership of PayMaya with The SM Store, which aims to redefine the shopping experience here in the Philippines.

This campaign to provide added convenience to customers will allow customers who are purchasing via PayMaya QR will get 10% rebate (PhP 100 per branch per day) on all purchases nationwide. This introductory promo will last from January 1 until April 15, 2018. To sweeten the deal, every PhP 1,000 spent can get you a chance in winning an Apple iPhone X.

“More and more Filipinos are using cashless payments with PayMaya, and we’re excited to work with like-minded companies such as SM in innovating on the retail shopping experience with the help of our payment technologies. With companies like SM taking the lead, we’ll see PayMaya QR in a lot more stores and establishments all around the country,” said Manuel V. Pangilinan, Chairman at PLDT, Smart, Voyager, and PayMaya.

If you still don’t have a PayMaya account, all you have to do is download the PayMaya app on iOS or Android, and register for an account using your mobile number. Once you’re done, you can load up your account in more than 15,000 PayMaya load-up touchpoints nationwide, which include: SM Business Services, 7-Eleven, ExpressPay, TouchPay kiosks, Palawan Pawnshops, Shopwise, Wellcome, 2-Go outlets, Petron stations along NLEX, Smart Padala centers, and through Unionbank ATMs and RCBC retail online banking.
