OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro complete specs and pricing leaked ahead of launch

A new round of leaks has been posted about the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro revealing their full list of specifications and pricing. It seems that the information from the leak was provided by a Slovakian retailer who posted both smartphones ahead of the expected April 14, 2020 launch.

If the leak is to be believed, the OnePlus 8 will come with a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED 2400 x 1080 90Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass. Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have a larger 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED 3168 x 1440 120Hz display.

In terms of imaging capabilities, the OnePlus 8 will allegedly have a 48MP f/1.75 Sony IMX586 main camera, a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide and 2MP f/2.4 macro at the back and a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 shooter at the front.

The OnePlus 8 Pro will have a more impressive camera system at the back. A 48MP f/1.78 Sony IMX689 main camera leads the pack followed by a 48MP f/2.2 Sony IMX586 ultrawide, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 5MP f/2.4 color filter. The 16MP selfie camera will have a slightly narrower f/2.4 aperture but the same Sony IMX471 sensor.

Both smartphones are expected to ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as well as 5G capabilities thanks to the chipset. In terms of battery, the OnePlus 8 will have a 4,300mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge 30T while the 8 Pro will be rated at 4,510mAh with support for 30W Warp Charge 30T, 30W Wireless Charging, and 3W Reverse Wireless Charging.

Pricing for the OnePlus 8 starts at EUR 729 (USD 791, PhP 40,000) for the 8GB/128GB model and EUR 835 (USD 906, PhP 46,000) for the 12GB/256GB version. On the other hand, pricing for the OnePlus 8 Pro will be set at EUR 930 (USD 1,000, PhP 51,000) for the 8GB/128GB variant and EUR 1,020 (USD 1100, PhP 56,000) for the 12GB/256GB model. Both smartphones are expected to hit store shelves on April 30, 2020.
