OnePlus has officially announced that they will launching the 8 series on April 14, 2020. Aside from the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite (OnePLus Z), the brand might also be revealing the OnePlus TV 55 Q1 Pro.
The OnePlus 8 series launch will be held in an online-only event. It seems that the OnePlus 8 series will be focused on better performance with its tagline “Lead with Speed.’ Current rumors point to the OnePluis 8 having a 6.55-inch 2400 x 1080 90Hz AMOLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip and a triple camera setup led by a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter plus a 16MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 5G capabilities, a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen, up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device is expected to have a 32MP punch-hole camera at the front and a quad camera setup at the back composed of a 48MP f/1.8 main, a 48MP f/2.2 ultrawide, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens, and a 5MP depth sensor.
