The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is set to debut on February 7, 2023 and it will be one of the first TWS in the market to support Android 13’s Spatial Audio. This allows the earbuds to have a multi-dimensional experience despite having space constraints.
Spatial Audio will use the built-in headtracking in the buds to simulate multi-channel audio. Of course, this will only be effective on content that also have multiple sound channels. The most common of which are movies.
Worry not for other content, however, as OnePlus will be employing a bespoke stereo up-mixing algorithm to create multi-dimensional sound from mainstream audio and video content.
To improve seamless system connectivity, the buds will also have support for Android autos switching. This enables it to connect to two devices at once and automatically switches to the device that’s playing audio.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2will launch at the OnePlus Cloud 11 Event on February 7, 2023 alongside the anticipated global debut of the OnePlus 11. More details will be available at launch on its official website.
