OnePlus outs the OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, their latest flagship killers

OnePlus has just unleashed their latest flagship killers: the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro. The former sticks to a traditional design such as a notched display and dual cameras at the back while the latter is a bit more futuristic packing a notchless display, a pop-up camera, and a triple-rear camera setup.

OnePlus 7 Pro

Let’s start off with the OnePlus 7 Pro. As the name suggests, the 7 Pro is the more impressive among the two smartphones. It comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 together with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

The smartphone’s display is a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a QuadHD+ resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. If that’s not enough, the company has thrown in an HDR10+ certification for better color reproduction and a 90Hz refresh rate for a top-notch gaming experience.

The OnePlus 7 Pro is able to pack a notchless screen because of its pop-up camera. Like other smartphones before it, the 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera now pops up whenever the selfie camera is activated.

At the back of the smartphone are triple rear cameras. Its camera setup is composed of a 48MP f/1.6 main camera powered by a Sony IMX 586 sensor with OIS, an 8MP f/2.4 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide shooter.

The device gets its juice from a 4,000mAh battery, which is charged via a USB Type-C port. The smartphone supports the company’s 30W Warp Charge in order to quickly charge its battery.

OnePlus 7

The OnePlus 7 is a step down from the 7 Pro but it still packs everything you’d want from a flagship-killing smartphone. The smartphone comes with a flagship-class Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.

Its display is a 6.28-inch AMOLED FullHD+ display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Colors are improved by its sRGB and DCI-P3 rating. Resting on the display’s notch is a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

The OnePlus 7 strips the triple camera setup in lieu of a dual camera setup. It is composed of a 48MP f/1.7 main shooter powered by a Sony IMX 586 sensor and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

The smartphone is powered by a 3,700mAh battery. Charging is provided via a USB Type-C port with its 20W Warp Charging.
