The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro has made its debut over in China. The tablet has been updated to a flagship-class chipset, and shares key design and hardware to the OPPO Pad 4 Pro.
OnePlus’ Pad 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The tablet will also support fast connectivity including WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Its screen is a 13.2-inch IPS 3392 x 2400 120Hz IPS screen and is paired with quad speakers with HiFi audio. OnePlus fits a massive 12,140mAh battery in its 6mm-thick chassis, which supports 67W SuperVOOC charging.
For optics, the Pad 2 Pro comes with a 13MP main camera accompanied by a color spectrum sensor, and an 8MP front-facing lens to take selfies and calls. The tablet runs on ColorOS 15, but global audiences will expect a variant of OxygenOS if it hits the international market.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is currently exclusive in China with a starting price of CNY 3,199 for its base 8GB/256GB variant. Going up to its top-end 16GB/512GB model will set you back CNY 3,999.
When directly converted, the tablet’s price will range from PhP 25,000 to PhP 31,000. There’s no word yet if the device will have an international launch in the future.
