After much teasing, the OPPO A3 has finally hit the retail market in the Philippines. Despite being an entry-level smartphone, it is being positioned as one of the most durable A series smartphones yet rated with a US Military-Grade Shock Resistance.
At only 7.68mm thin, the OPPO A3 can survive falls from a height of 1.6 meters and from 1.2 meters for up to 20 times. It also comes with a 5-star overall drop resistance from SGS alongside its US Military-Grade Shock Resistance, which enables it to survive your daily needs.
Inside is a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 chip with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. To make it last throughout the day, it packs a 5,100mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC with OPPO claiming that it can reach 100% from empty in 85 minutes.
Cameras include a 50MP f/1.8 main camera at the ack and a 5MP f/2.2 front-facing camera on its 6.97-inch HD+ 90Hz display. Speaking of its screen, it comes with multiple liquid resistance together with OPOP’s Splash Touch technology letting you use the screen without any issues even with water or oil on your hands.
The device will run on ColorOS 14 with OPPO promising a 36-month Fluency Protection, which guarantees smooth performance for at least 3 years of regular use.
The OPPO A3 comes in Starry Purple and Sparkle Black variants and is priced at PhP 8,999 in the Philippines. You can now get it via OPPO’s Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores, as well as retail stores nationwide.
