OPPO A5 Pro gets 8GB/256GB variant in PH

The 4G variant of the OPPO A5 Pro is getting an 8GB/256GB variant in the Philippines. At PhP 13,999, it doubles the storage of the original 4G model and still comes with a more durable chassis and large battery.

The OPPO A5 Pro promises and ultra-durable experience thanks to its IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. This enables the device to survive the weather or accidental water immersion. Additionally, its 6.67-inch 1604 x 720 90Hz IPS display supports Splash Touch that allows it to be used even with water, sweat, or oil on the screen.

To improve its durability further, it has been rated with Military-Grade Shock Resistance and has been equipped with double-tempered glass and enhanced interior protection to last through every day wear and tear.

For cameras, OPPO equips the A5 Pro with a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with a monochrome secondary and an 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. It also comes with LivePhoto, Portrait mode and AI features such as AI Editor, Unblur, and Reflection Remover to up your photography game.

Inside its chassis is a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen1 chip paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The whole smartphone is powered by a 5,800mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC charging.

The OPPO A5 Pro 8GB/256GB is now available in the Philippines through their official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok stores, as well as authorized retailers nationwide for PhP 13,999. You can get its 8GB/128GB at a lower price of PhP 10,999. Alternatively, there’s also a 5G variant with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 for PhP 15,999.
