OPPO is expanding their A-series device for the midrange segment with the OPPO A94. Launched initially in the UAE, the A94 packs a large AMOLED display, quad cameras, and a Helio P95 chip.
As mentioned, the OPPO A94 comes with a Helio P95 chipset courtesy of MediaTek with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Its display is a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 but is missing more gamer-centric features like 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone has a total of five cameras: four of them are located at the back led by a 48MP f/1.8 main camera, and an unspecified ultrawide, macro, monochrome lenses. Based on previous entries in the market, we can safely presume that its ultrawide camera is an 8MP f/2.2 lens while both the mono and macro lenses are 2MP f/2.4 shooters. Meanwhile at the front, is a sole 32MP f/2.4 selfie camera.
The whole smartphone is powered by a 4,310mAh battery that supports30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 via its USB Type-C port. It also gets an In-Display fingerprint sensor as well as Face Unlock, which have now become standard in smartphones, regardless of price point.
While the OPPO A94 has been officially announced, its pricing and availability have yet to be unveiled.
