OPPO is adding another smartphone under their arsenal with the OPPO Ace2. While it sheds the Reno moniker, it still packs quite an impressive suite of specifications including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, a 90Hz screen, and a 40W wireless charging.

At the front of the OPPO Ace2 is a 6.55-inch AMOLED 2400 x 1080 display, which can produce brightness of up to 500nits and supports 90Hz refresh rate as well as HDR10+. The uniform screen is only broken by a punch-hole at the top-left housing the smartphone’s 16MP f/2.4 front-facing camera.

The back is populated by a quad camera setup composed of a 48MP f/1.7 main shooter, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, a 2MP f/2.4 mono lens, and a 2MP macro camera with a Dual-LED Flash. The quad cameras is arranged in a circular pattern smack in the middle of the smartphone’s rear.

Inside the OPPO Ace2’s chassis is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Since it’s using one of the latest chips from Qualcomm, it is 5G compatible so long as your area is covered.

One of the most impressive aspect of OPPO’s newest smartphone is its charging technology. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 wired charging as well as 40W AirVOOC wireless charging. Introduced alongside the OPPO Ace2 is the exclusive AirVOOC charger to fully utilize its fast wireless charging tech.
