OPPO Philippines has announced that they will be extending the warranty of all devices affected by the enhanced community quarantine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will allow consumers who have warranties lapsing within the quarantine period to have more time to repair their devices.

Devices with a warranty expiry date starting March 9, 2020 until the last day of the quarantine period will be granted an extension of two months. This extension will take effect after the last day of the quarantine. This will cover services such as screen repairs, hardware and software tune ups, and other malfunctions.

Those who bought an OPPO device from March 1 to March 20, 2020 will be granted an extended replacement term of 7 days effective after the quarantine period. Of course, you will still need to provide proper documentation and proof for factory defects in order to qualify for the extension.

Inspected and approved device replacements handled by an OPPO service center representative with an official issuance of Inspection Order starting February 20 until March 20, 2020 are also covered by the extension. Dealers affected will be able to return the devices to OPPO by May 20, 2020.

OPPO sells a wide array of smartphones and accessories. Thus, the extension applies to both OPPO devices and accessories repairs.
