OPPO has officially released the first of the Reno series here in the Philippines. Composed of two smartphones: the Reno and Reno 10x Zoom, both smartphones are positioned in different segments in the market to allow OPPO to show their innovation to more people.
Acting as the flagship of the Reno series, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom Like its name suggests, the smartphone comes with the latest zoom technologies from OPPO. The smartphone packs a triple camera setup at the rear: a 48MP f/1.7 main, a 13MP f/3.0 telephoto lens, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide shooter.
Aside from working independently from one another, these three cameras can work together to allow the smartphone to reach 10x Hybrid Zoom. If that’s not enough, the OPPO Reno 10x Zoom can also reach digital zoom levels of 60x.
At the front of the smartphone is a notchless 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. OPPO was able to maximize the screen by placing the 16MP f/2.0 font-facing camera on a motorized shark fin platform.
The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It gets its juice from a 4,065 battery backed by VOOC 20W Fast Charging.
The OPPO Reno is the 10x Zoom’s little brother. While not as impressive as its larger brother, the Reno is still no slouch itself. Its screen is a 6.4-inch 2340 x 1080 AMOLED screen. Like the 10x Zoom, the Reno comes with a motorized platform for its 16MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.
At the smartphone’s rear is a 48MP f/1.7 main shooter and a 5MP f/2.4 depth sensor for better bokeh effects in portrait mode. Inside its chassis is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with 6GB of RAM.
The smartphone gets its power from a 3,765mAh battery with support for VOOC 20W Flash Charge. Files and photos are stored its 256GB internal storage.
