The OPPO Reno12 F 5G will be launching in the Philippines this August 20, 2024 to complete the Reno12 series. Like the previous F smartphones, it will be placed at the bottom of the stack to be competitive at a more affordable price point.
First debuting over in Thailand, the OPPO Reno12 F 5G packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. Its display is a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz OLED display with In-Display Fingerprint Scanning and its chassis is rated for IP64 dust and water resistance.
For imaging, it has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro at the back and a 32MP f/2.4 front-facing camera. AI-assisted tools such as AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Studio will be available on the device.
OPPO says that it improves signal integrity with AI LinkBoost and 360° Surround Antenna. The latter consists of 9 antennas to provide better signal even while in a crowded area. Bluetooth is enhanced with BeaconLink by up to 300% with device-to-device Bluetooth calls enabled for up to 200 meters.
A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and can be charged with 65W SuperVOOC. Two color options are going to be available: Amber Orange and Olive Green.

For reference, the smartphone launched with an asking price of THB 11,990 in Thailand. This puts it around the PhP 19,500 mark, which is close to the Philippine launch price of the OPPO Reno11 F 5G.
