OPPO Philippines has officially published teasers about the arrival of the Reno6 Z and Reno6 5G in the Philippines. It seems that both devices have been teased on their website, Facebook and Twitter account, and will launch locally on August 6, 2021 at 5:00pm presumably via a livestream on their social media pages.
The OPPO Reno6 5G was first launched in China packing a 6.43-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, triple rear cameras with a 64MP f/1.7 main lens, and a 32MP f/2.4 selfie shooter.
Battery-wise, the device comes with a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging via its USB Type-C port.
The OPPO Reno6 Z, on the other hand, will be making its first appearance on July 21 in a launch in Thailand. Speculations say that it will have a Dimensity chip with 5G connectivity, a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, an 8GB/256GB configuration, and support for 30W SuperVOOC charging.
Obviously, the pricing and availability of the OPPO Reno6 5G and Reno6 Z are yet to be unveiled by OPPO. We expect that more information will be unveiled by the brand once their August 6, 2021 launch date hits. We can anticipate, however, that the OPPO Reno6 5G’s price will hover around the CNY 2,799 (PhP 22,000) mark.
