OPPO has released a teaser for a new technology that they will be using to improve performance on their smartphones. Dubbed as HyperBoost, this new tech will allow OPPO’s smartphone to have improved hardware performance by boosting the SoC.
Allegedly similar to Huawei’s GPU Turbo technology, OPPO’s Hyperboost will allow smartphones to yield better performance in games and in general usage by boosting the frequencies of the GPU and CPU when possible. The new teaser also states that OPPO will be moving “Towards an era of acceleration.”
No word yet as to when OPPO’s Hyperboost technology will reach consumers but the rumormill says that it might be related to the announcement of the OPPO K1.
