Expected from Apple, the download for OS X El Capitan is now available right on schedule.

It comes from OS X Yosemite, Apple’s minimalist redesign of their desktop-line operating system. El Capitan brings features in the Notes app that makes it similar to the iOS version and adds more usability features on Maps and Safari. The main highlight is its new multitasking management feature that lets you split your screen between two apps like the one you see in Windows 8 and 10.

So why not download it now? The operating system updates on laptops are much more stable and reliable than iOS so we think it’s okay to dive into the new OS immediately.
