Currently the target of an international manhunt, the vigilante known as Soldier: 76 wages a personal war to expose the truth behind Overwatch’s collapse.
Soldier 76 is the run-of-the-mill FPS warrior that most know and love. He’s a vanilla hero with a kit that doesn’t lean to much on one side. He can heal, sprint, and deal damage reliably from range. This makes Soldier 76 a beginner’s hero but nonetheless still a viable damage dealer for high level plays.

With his kit, Soldier 76 does little when in close range. Utilize your Heavy Pulse Rifle and gun down targets from a distance. Position yourself carefully and plot out possible escape routes should your frontliners fail.
Helix Rockets deals a huge chunk of instantaneous damage. Use it whenever you can and fire it together with your Heavy Pulse Rifle for a higher chance of landing a direct hit. Abuse its cooldown and use it against tanks, turrets, or slow moving foes.
A basic strategy but nevertheless effective, Soldier 76’s Biotic Field allows him a bit of survivability while in the field. Use it when peaking out of cover and shooting at enemies to keep your health up to 100%. Note that the heal provided by the Biotic Field is not comparable to a full-blown Support so be careful and don’t over commit.
