Asia League Limited (“Asia League”) announced seven of the eight teams participating in the Summer Super 8 tournament this year in Macau SAR.

With the teams coming from some of the top clubs in China, Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Chinese Taipei, the tournament has the making of an exciting competition this coming July. All eight teams are in the first divisions of their respective leagues.
Recognized by FIBA, Asia League’s Summer Super 8 will be held on July 17-22 at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. The tournament provides a new platform to develop local Asian talent and establishes a regional forum for professionals and players in Asia Pacific basketball to come together and enjoy top-grade competition and game experience.
During the tournament, two FIBA recognized development and networking activities will also be staged in the same venue: the Summer Super 8 Coaches’ Clinic and a FIBA Elite Referees Development Camp. Both programs contribute to raising the standards and professionalism of basketball overall across the Asia region.
The 8th and final participating team is greatly anticipated and will be announced in the near future.
