Well known for their multimedia and consumer displays, Philips is entering the gaming monitor market in the Philippines by bringing four new entry-level gaming monitors.
Available in 24 and 27-inch variants, the Philips Gaming E1GSJ gaming monitors come with VA panels that deliver deep blacks and better viewing angles compared to the usual TN panels. Both are running at 144Hz and 1ms MPRT for smooth and fast response times in games.
The Philips Gaming 24E1GSJ and 27E1GSJ come with a SmartImage game mode that they say has been optimized for gamers. The only difference between models, aside from size, is that the 24-inch model of the E1GSJ has support for AMD FreeSync for eliminating tearing while playing.
Placed slightly higher than the E Series Philips Gaming monitors, the Philips Momentum 242M8 and 272M8 has IPS panels that offer better colors while still retaining a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time.
Both monitors come with HDMI and DisplayPort for connection options as well as an ultrawide color range for vivid pictures. In addition, both models have a LowBlue mode, flicker free technology, and tilt for a more comfortable viewing experience.
