Philips Gaming Monitors team up with Fulcrum Esports Valkyries and Hashira Valorant Squad

Philips Gaming Monitors have partnered up with Fulcrum Esports Valkyries and Hashira Valorant Pro Team to support both teams in their esports dream. In addition to providing help to teams, Philips aims to further cement its presence in the gaming industry to all gamers.

Fulcrum Esports Valkyries

The Fulcrum Esports Valkyries are led by captain Eunice Anne “Rashida” Abendanio and in-game lead Fiona Noreen “DelBisky” Del Rosaria. Its duelists are Rissa Nicole “NicoleG” Grumal and Trisha “Trishmosa” Villanueva. Rounding up the roster are controller/sentinel Mary Fleur “Hysteria” Intes and smoker Jasmine Eunice “Qomotion” Cruz.

The Valkyries will be participating in the FSL FPS season where they are aiming their sights on the top-tier regional competitions and other all-female Valorant tournaments. Prior to their partnership with Philips, they have already finished in the top 5 of Liga Adarna’s “Sleigh the Enemy” Valorant Tourney in December 2020. They have also secured their playoff berth in the aforementioned FSL FPS.

Hashira Valorant Pro Team

Headed by Francis Danison “Rabbet” Bunag, the Hashira Valorant Pro team is composed by FPS veterans. This includes Jeremy “JRemY” Cabrera and “Jiggs “invy” Reyes, Mohammad “Hatred” Macarambon, and Aron “2766” Orlanda.

Hashira has competed in major tournaments before their partnership with Philips. They have become champions of Valoleague Season 1, Sukiru Valorant Invitational, Intel Gen X League Season 2, and the JBL Valorant Open. They have also placed 1st runner up in SEASports Qualifier Week 1, runner up in the AOC Masters Valorant Cup, and 3rd-4th in the Valorant First Stike Philippines.

Philips’ Plans for 2021

Philips, in addition to supporting these teams, will be releasing more devices that caters to gamers and their home entertainment systems. They will also be establishing more relationships with esports teams this year in order to plant their flag in the gaming industry.

They will be the first ones to use monitors with up to 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time from our brand. Under Philips Gaming, we will bring both teams to new heights, and help them get the recognition they deserve from the esports community and beyond.”
