Do Not Fire At Hugo

Lucas kills Hugo Macula

During the climax of the game, Amicia is forced to kill Hugo to finally end the effects of the Macula. However, are you really forced to do this? See, if you wait for a minute and a half before you fire, Lucas will instead see your hesitation and fire the crossbow on your behalf. This results in the same ending but is significantly different in terms of delivery.

Epilogue Dialogue Also Changes

Amicia angry at Lucas

The dialogue between Sophia and Amicia in the epilogue also changes if you let Lucas fire at the Hugo. If you fire at Hugo, Amicia will tell Sophia that the Lucas went on to study on his own. On the other hand, if you let Lucas kill Hugo, Amicia will express hatred and recalls how Lucas delivered the killing blow. Both endings end with Lucas studying on his own.
