Sony has announced that pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 will start on November 20 and will be available in various retailers in the Philippines.
While the PlayStation 5 will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow with a price tag of PhP 27,990 for the Blu-ray variant. Start time of pre-orders will be entirely dependent on the operating hours of participating retailers. You can reserve your own console via these retailers:
It seems that Sony is expecting high demand for the console. For example, Datablitz will only be catering for pre-orders online due to the COVID-19 pandemic at from only 2:00pm to 2:05pm. Yes you read that right, you only have 5 minutes to pre-order a PS5 from Datablitz.
iTech is employing a similar tactic limiting pre-orders through their website. The pre-order period will only happen between 2:00pm to 2:05pm tomorrow, November 20, 2020. Payments would also be needed to be settled within the day.
Customers can expect their pre-ordered PlayStation 5 units with Blu-Ray Disc Drive to arrive on December 11, 2020.
