A Playstation 5 Pro is seen at DataBlitz OPUS Mall for PhP 51,999 – an 85% difference over the base PlayStation 5. But do take note that this is a Japanese Version imported as the box is labeled in Japanese as per seeing the actual box.
Launched back in November, the PS5 Pro packs improved performance and graphical prowess. Its updated GPU promises better ray tracing and PlayStation’s own upscaling tech called PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution to boost framerates.
The Pro also comes with a 2TB SSD by default making storing games much less of a hassle given the larger storage requirements games have nowadays. Sony also upgrades the hardware to support WiFi 7 for faster wireless network speeds.
Sony excludes the disc drive on the PlayStation 5 Pro, making it a digital-focused console. You can still purchase a separate PS5 disc drive. This is the reason why the PS5 Pro is not available in the Philippines as the unit is focused for PlayStation Network centric countries like Singapore and other nearby countries.
Should you want one, prepare to be on a PSN subscription and shell out PhP 51,995.
