PNY Technologies showcased their new range of storage options, cutting-edge GPUs, and AI-geared workstations at Computex 2024. Their latest series of devices include a new PCIe 5.0 storage, SFF-Ready GeForce cards, and a rugged portable SSD.
The PNY XLR8 Gaming CS3150 NVMe M.2 SSD uses the PCIe 5.0 protocol to achieve sequential read and write speeds of 12,000MB/s and 11,000MB/s, respectively. To keep this performance consistent and without thermal throttling, PNY has equipped it with a heatsink with built-in ultra-quiet fans. They say that it has been optimized for Microsoft DirectStorage to enhance game load times and image quality.
PNY is also catering to the on-the-go crowd that need high-speed storage with the RP60 USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Portable SSD. By utilizing a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 connection, it’s able to reach 2,000MB/s sequential reads and 1,800MB/s sequential write speeds.
Its rubber armor is rated at IP65 dust and water resistance plus accidental drops of up to 3 meters so you don’t need to worry about dust, splashes, or accidental drops. For good measure, they are also including Acronis True Image Data Protection out of the box to backup and recover your data.
NVIDIA recently introduced their SFF-Ready guideline for RTX cards to fit small formfactor builds that has become more popular nowadays. Among the first GPUs to come from PNY fitting these guidelines are the PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB XLR8 Gaming Verto OC Edition and the PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB Verto OC Dual Fan enabling enthusiasts to comfortably fit powerful cards on smaller builds.
