The POCO F5 and F5 Pro have officially made their global debut. They are a direct follow up from last year’s POCO F4 series and have a few upgrades including a new chipset – a Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 for the POCO F5 and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for the Pro model.
POCO F5
The POCO F5 is the first smartphone to hit the market with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. It will support 5G connectivity, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, and LiquidCool Technology 2.0 Vapor Chamber that promises heat dissipation by 35 percent.
At the front is a 6.67-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz AMOLED screen with Gorilla Glass 5 and a 16MP f/2.45 selfie camera. Its rear triple camera setup includes a 64MP f/1.79 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens.
The battery is the expected 5,000mAh cell but it will support 67W Turbo Charging via its USB-C port.

POCO F5 Pro
The POCO F5 Pro is nearly classified as a flagship thanks to its new specifications. It packs a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage; and a 6.67-inch 120Hz 3200 x 1440 AMOLED screen.
Cameras are the same as the non-pro model with its 64MP f/1.79 main lens leading at the back. Battery capacity is slightly higher at 5,160mAh that still supports 67W Turbo Charging but adds 30W wireless charging. Its chassis is also rated at IP53 dust and water resistance.

Price and Availability
The POCO F5 and F5 Pro are now available in the Philippines starting at PhP 20,999 and PhP 26,999, respectively. The brand is bringing in several models for each smartphone:
