Rejoice as for August 6 is now known as the day that Pokemon Go released. Users of both Android and Apple smartphones in Southeast Asia can now get a taste of the augmented-reality game officially. That of course, includes our lovely archipelago, the Philippines.

Finally without viruses!
The good thing about it all is that anyone can do it without having to tinker or do magic with their phones. The official download can be found in the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
To know if your phone is supported, check out this requirements list provided by Niantic Labs:

Pokemon Go was released with massive success worldwide last July 6, 2016. So widely accepted in fact that people got into
trouble due to their
concentration in becoming a
