The Pokémon Company and Niantic has partnered with 7-Eleven to launch Pokémon-themed 7-Eleven stores across the Philippines. Aside from a brand-new look for its 40th year, 7-Eleven stores will also carry Pokémon Trading Card Booster Packs bundled with freebies.
The partnership will redesign several 7-Eleven stores around the Philippines with a Pokémon theme. The first Pokémon-themed store in the Philippines is located at Eton Centris in Quezon City and comes with wallpapers complete with iconic Pokémon characters from various generations. In addition to its new look, the store has also been tagged as a PokéStop for Pokémon GO.
The branch at Eton Centris isn’t the only one being converted into a Pokémon-theme store and PokéStop. They are also converting 7-Eleven branches at Arnaiz Avenue in Makati and St. Theresa Casa Rosario in Cebu.
The new look is also accompanied with similarly-themed packaging for 7-Eleven’s food offerings. These special packaging will include the original three starters Squirtle Charmander, and Bulbasaur, Pikachu, Snorlax, Meowth, Jigglypuff, Gyarados, and Eevee and its eeveelutions Flareon, Jolteon, and Umbreon.
As part of the collaboration, 7-Eleven stores in the Philippines will now carry Trading Card Boosters for the Pokémon Trading Card Game including the Stellar Crown Expansion, which have Terastal Phenomenon, fist seen in Pokémon Violet and Scarlet video games. These booster packs are available for PhP 259 each with every PhP 1,500 purchase netting you a limited-edition Pokémon x 7-Eleven card.
