Prepaid fiber plans are now here, and they make access to fiber Internet much more affordable. Here are the latest plans from providers in the Philippines and their respective prices, speeds, and perks.
Globe’s GFiber Prepaid Internet plans promise speeds of up to 50Mbps with one-time installation fee of PhP 999. As a bonus, they are throwing a free 7-day access to unlimited Fiber Internet. Once your free access is up, prepaid plans start at PhP 199 with more premium plans reaching up to PhP 9,999 for 365 days of access with a free 1-year subscription to Disney+.
You can apply for Globe’s GFiber Prepaid Internet plans by visiting their official website or via the GlobeOne app.
As part of their 4th anniversary in the Philippines, GOMO is taking their services to the next level with their own prepaid fiber Internet. Until January 31, 2024, you can get a discounted rate of PhP 999 for installation with free 7 days of unlimited fiber. Once the promo lapses, however, the base plan will return to its regular price of PhP 1,499.
They are also integrating their GOMO network into the mix by bundling data onto their fiber promos with plans starting at PhP 299.
You can subscribe to GOMO’s prepaid fiber Internet service on their official website or on the GOMO app.
Converge rolled out their prepaid fiber Internet services last year under the name Converge Surf2Sawa. Their installation fee costs PhP 1,000 and will give you a bundled modem plus speeds of up to 35Mbps. Once installed, you can enjoy your prepaid fiber starting at PhP 50.
There is a caveat, however, as their service is limited for up to 6 devices only. There’s also news that the Ethernet port on the modem is disabled, making wired connections to desktops impossible.
You can apply for Converge’s Surf2Sawa prepaid fiber plans via their official website.
PLDT Home Prepaid Fiber Internet plans promises speeds of up to 35Mbps. There is no lock-in period, but there is a one-time installation fee of PhP 1,399 that includes 15 days of free Internet access. Once your complementary connection runs out, fiber plans start at PhP 199 for 7 days of access.
You can subscribe to PLDT Home Prepaid Fiber Internet through PLDT’s official website.

The Converge Surf2Sawa is perhaps one of the cheaper options among the four, but you’ll need to take into consideration that they only support 6 devices connected to the network. That’s fine if you have a few devices, but households that have more people in it may fight for connectivity.
GOMO Fiber might be the more expensive of the lot, but they are considering the wider GOMO ecosystem. If you’re a mobile GOMO subscriber, the additional data allocation bundled on their plans may be helpful.
Both Globe and PLDT offer no nonsense plans. Globe does have options to include Disney+ on your subscription, which you might be able to take advantage of if you like their shows and movies. PLDT might be more expensive in the installation but they are including 15 days of free access once installed.
Perhaps the best prepaid fiber Internet service is the one available in your area. Check their respective websites first and see If you’re area is serviceable before deciding on the service.
