The realme 12 series is now complete thanks to the arrival of the realme 12 5G in the Philippines. Launched 2 months after the 12+ and 12 Pro+ 5G, the realme 12 offers a more budget-friendly alternative while still offering attractive features like a 108MP main camera.
At the back of the realme 12 5G is a 108MP f/1.75 main camera. Its 3x in-sensor zoom enables you to use up to 3x digital zoom without loss of clarity even in the absence of a dedicated telescopic camera. Exclusive to the series are features like Cinematic Bokeh Algorithm to intelligently adjust blur and lighting plus built-in Master Portrait Filters.
The main camera is backed by a 2MP f/2.4 portrait camera plus an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera on its 6.72-inch 2400 x 1080 120Hz IPS display. Speaking of the display, it “Extra Brightness” toggle activates Sunlight Mode that allows it to reach 950nits of brightness – helpful for using the smartphone against sunlight.
The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G platform with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It does support 5G connectivity and has Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 out of the box. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and can be charged through its 45W SuperVOOC charger.
